On January 25, 2026, the Do It For Her 5K once again brought the community together for an inspiring day of fitness and philanthropy. Participants ran through Temecula’s scenic wine country while supporting the foundation’s mission to honor Heather’s legacy and assist families affected by cancer.

2025 – Continued Support and Community Impact
The Do It For Her 5K on February 2, 2025 built on the momentum of previous years, drawing even more individuals who wanted to run, walk, and honor those touched by cancer. With runners of all ages lining up at Vitagliano Winery, the event fostered a sense of unity and hope, reminding participants that every step can help make a difference. As the campaign continues to grow, proceeds again support the Heather Janikowski Foundation in funding patient resources and outreach in the community.
2024 – Growing the Tradition
On January 21, 2024, the Do It For Her 5K returned for its second year with even more participants and support from the community. The event once again took runners through the beautiful landscape of Temecula’s wine country and provided a festive atmosphere featuring vendors, prizes, and post‑race celebrations.
